Wonderful video...this type of quilting is so new to me and I love it. I've been quilting and embroidery for over 60 years ( traditional western way). I'm going to try this.
I think you will find it very exciting. Try anything, be fearless.
Love your music choices
I completely get her questions of, "why this there?", "why did I do that?". This is how I know I am creating something amazing, when I can't even explain what I made. Also, the key to anything we create that is beautiful is to always have a part of it that we call, "ugly", because usually, that "ugly" part turns out to be the most fascinating thing about it!
you got it
Looks interesting
Really neat
So much good info in this video. I joined an online recorder consort and got so much better at reading music by playing with others and not being able to stop.
Hope you’re doing well. Love your art. You inspired me to learn to read sheet music with one of your videos. I’m pretty good at it now. Thanks for the inspiration.
I hope you are doing well. ❤
I am. Considering . . .
🙏❤
❤❤❤❤❤,I love it
OMG I could listen to this beautiful woman speak for hours. I am just starting a Siddi quilt. I find it intimidating at this time and hope I loosen up :)
I just found your channel via another youtuber showing her Kwandi syle project and she linked you I just wanted to say I love your work, I doubt I will ever be able to see one in person as I not located anywhere near by whole coninents away. If I ever go back to san fransico I will try to see if you have any shows on as I appreciate your art. I am in sixtyth year I hope my life is as long and fruitful as your appears from these videos.
❤ The muddy fishyverse cannot always appreciate genius. It's great to see you're not blue. Remember it takes one to know one, and where genius is concerned, there's often just one of a kind. So hard to find. ❤ That was the problem. Don't feel blue, let your quilts do it for you. 😂😂😂 ❤
I can't remember every feeling blue. Purple maybe.

It's June, 2024 and I just found your page! I also found your first vlog - wow, just WOW! I have a ton of videos to watch now! I'm interested in Kiwanda and this seems to be a good place to start with details. THANK YOU!!
welcome. Check out the playlists, autobiovideography
Your amazing going to India!
It took me a quite a while to scroll down your video catalogue to see if you had a recording of this piece; UA-cam’s search function wasn’t helping much 😂
the problem seems to be with my website. If you are there, then scroll way down to 'more about Margaret' and off to the right there is a tiny YT ikon. That takes you to my YT channel where I am 'atree3'. When you are there go to playlists and 'concert tapes' is there. Of course, now that you know that you could just go direct to YT atree3. Sorry for the confusion. Why were you looking for that?
@@atree3 Noo I’ve been watching your performance of Contrapunctus 1 for a few years now and I just thought to check yesterday if you had one of BWV 849. I didn’t know you had a website at all, lol. I hope you are doing well these days.
Being hungry is so bad
Such a beautiful performance. I listened intently, it felt wonderful to have my attention taken so entirely.
I've just found you from one of your 12 year-old videos. It was the 9 May 2012 one called "How one sees", all about the Siddi quilts. It was riveting. I am amazed to see that you're still uploading and are still so productive. You go girl! You are an inspiration to us all.
yes, still going, just not so much. New one coming soon. thanks for watching
Listening to this music played by this old women seems to me like discovering a deep love affair between Purcel , this beautiful instrument and its makers and the lady. There ist so much love and passion. I m deeply touched when I watch this clip.. Thanks a lot ! God bless you.
I am happy that you discovered it

You are just incredible as always, Margaret!
…and that is how it is with slow stitching.
Just spectacular. Someone, please draft a pattern for this quilt so I don't have to!
I am doing a piece if this sewing, and I love the process orientation. I'm sure mine is different for many reasons, but I love it.
Playing through those primer method books will NEVER make you successful in sight-reading unless you have developed a skillset. Sight-reading is not a theory lesson. Sight-reading is not a harmony lesson. Sight-reading is not a playing technique. Sight-reading is not a counterpoint lesson. It cannot be achieved by just reading through a piece or number of pieces. Do not believe that to be a good sight-reader is to just read a lot of music. How can reading a lot of music make you a successful sight-reader without a skillset? Successful sight-reading is the end result after mastering a skillset. Imagine reading any piece of music - beginning to end - with hardly any mistakes - and never, ever having to look at your fingers or the keyboard. That is the goal you want. To get there, you have to learn a skillset.
Wow Margaret!
They are not extracting Cotton seed Oil 100%.
Such incredible work and inspiration!
You are so talented and your work is amazing Watching you has encouraged me to continue and finish my quilts. Thank you Margaret.
Love it. Highrise is perfect name. 😊❤❤❤

Your work is lovely. Just wondering, what is the tool used as a pad held in the palm of your hand to push the needle? Is it a homemade items? Thank you,
Watching this film again today….I love this video. Thank you for the tour and the questions. ❤
The baby cute

Thank you so much atree3. I watched you all the time as a child with my mother. I distinctly remember making this together with her and my brother as well. Now here I am, an adult myself, making your bread for them. :)
Awesome. Such a beautiful video. I love this style of quilt.
